Resource Navigation
Our bilingual community resource navigation is the bridge between community members and the partner-provided services to help their families thrive.
Every year, hundreds of Casino Road residents drop-in to the community center or call our navigators for help connecting with resources.
This service is available on a walk-in basis every weekday with two full-time, bilingual navigators. The hardworking families in our community need services that are flexible and responsive to their emerging needs.

Casino Road residents have long experienced systemic barriers to their families’ wellbeing. These challenges don’t come siloed – so neither does our solution.

From making an appointment at the monthly legal clinic, to learning how to take the bus, to signing up for the onsite English classes, navigators help families overcome the complexities of accessing multiple services – all while only having to tell their story once.
Through this work, we help local families navigate inequitable systems in the short-run while advocating for elimination of barriers in the long-run through our community engagement work.
In a 2024 survey of resource navigation clients:
- 80% said this program would save their family money
- 97% said this program made a service accessible to them that was previously inaccessible
